SHIPPING & DELIVERY INFORMATION

If you do not need delivery by a guaranteed date it is encouraged that you select Free Standard Shipping (available for U.S. orders > $50). Because our items ship from multiple warehouses it is not possible for us to display real-time Free Standard Shipping delivery estimates for each item, therefore we say up to 4 or 5 business days, but many orders will arrive sooner. If your order ships from multiple warehouses from different parts of the country they will likely arrive on different days with free shipping.

How much does shipping cost?

All orders over $50 quality for free standard shipping, with delivery in 5 business days or less. Light & small packages weighing less than 6lbs typically ship via USPS, whereas bulk items typically ship via UPS or motor freight. To view and compare expedited shipping costs before entering checkout and without entering any payment information, simply add an item to your shopping cart and enter the delivery zipcode.

When should my order ship?

Our shipping cutoff for same day shipping is 11:00:00am EST, Monday thru Friday, unless noted. Orders placed after 10:59:59am ship by the next business day, Mon - Fri, (excluding acts of god, federal USPS holidays and holidays UPS observes). A tiny subset of items may require additional processing and will be explicitly noted on the product page. Backorder notices or expected shipping delays will be listed prominently on the product page and/or shopping cart. You will receive shipping confirmation by email & this will be available in your account. If you do not see a tracking number please request it from within your account.

When will I receive my order?

Orders totaling $50 or more qualify for Free Standard Shipping to arrive within 5 business days or less, in addition to expedited services. When choosing free shipping, we will select a carrier based on price & distance from the shipping warehouse(s), and your order may be split into multiple shipments or sent from multiple warehouses to reduce our freight costs. If you need faster shipping, we offer guaranteed delivery in 1, 2 or 3 business days for orders exceeding 6lbs. Exact weights are displayed in checkout. If you do not see these options available your order weighs less than 6lbs. Expedited shipping for these orders (if available), can only be entered by customer service. Can I ship my order to a APO/FPO or PO Box?

We can only ship orders weighing less than 5.99 lbs to Post Office boxes. If you are mailing something to a PO box or APO/FPO you must choose USPS mail. Note that if you send a parcel to an APO or FPO you need to enter the full address, including the full name, grade and PSC. Please allow 2-4 weeks for military mail to be delivered and note that tracking is unavailable for security. UPS does not ship to either and therefore many items are unavailable to shipment to military addresses.

Do you ship internationally?

Effective 2014 we are no longer exporting internationally due to increasing costs that include fraud, unnecessary paperwork, red tape, as well as past customers refusing to pay brokerage fees, duties and other customs fees. We will gladly ship to any US based commercial freight forwarder on your behalf.

A freight forwarder is simply someone who sends you the package from us. Once you have found a freight forwarder (or friend or relative in the states who can dispatch this parcel on your behalf), enter their US address in checkout instead of your own. They will be responsible for sending your package to it's final destination after we ship it to them on your behalf. By using a freight forwarder we are able to offer you lower prices, as they specialize in this. Additionally, they allow you to group multipe orders from different vendors, so you potentially combine savings from sending our order together with other packages.

Can I ship a package to someone else, or to my work?

Abso-fricken-lutely! If you want to mail someone a package, or if your billing and shipping addresses differ simply enter their address in checkout.

Backordered items

If an item is on backorder, or if a particular item takes additional time for processing it will be clearly noted on the product page. For select high-demand backordered products we may allow pre-orders to be placed once the product is in transit and expected within 2-3 business days. In these select cases it will be noted on the product page with an estimated ship date.

Out of Stock Items

Our website is designed to prevent you from ordering out of stock items (contact us about placing a special order or an ETA). All out of stock items are marked on our site & the "add to cart" button is disabled for these products. However, because we ship products from multiple warehouses our real-time inventory may sometimes be slightly out of sync. In the event of an inventory discrepancy you will be notified as promptly as possible. To check if we have enough of a particular item available simply add the desired quantity to your cart & our site will let you know. In extremely rare cases an item with low inventory may be bought by another customer while you are shopping or have the same item in your cart; in these instances a message will be displayed in your shopping cart.

What about packaging?

All items are packaged carefully to ensure they arrive in the same condition as when they leave our warehouse. To reduce our impact on the environment, wherever possible we use only recycled cardboard and recycled materials (including styrofoam peanuts which may have been sent to us by way of a customer return), and encourage you to re-use any packaging material sent to you with your order.
